I still love Sandman, and reread these books all the time! The covers, by Dave McKean, are some of the greatest art pieces of the 20th Century, in my honest opinion, and Gaiman's stories are beyond brilliant, synthesizing horror, mythology, dream interpretation/psychology, and superhero tropes into a unique, entertaining, darkly humorous whole. Always wonderful.
