When an advance review copy of Bible Force: The First Heroes Bible arrived in the mail recently, the book soon disappeared into the hands of my youngest preteen daughter. She rushed excitedly to her room to read it. And that is frankly how my wife and I also regard this big, fat, juicy comic book adaptation of many heroic stories from the Bible: with excitement and awe.

When any group of people make a 600+ page comic book, you can be sure that such people are passionate about what they desire to communicate. I really appreciate how this 641 page comic book comes boldly out of the gate to demonstrate that the heroes of the Bible were the first true super-heroes ever. With the rise of today's fictional super-hero movies and television shows, it makes the true heroes of the Bible even more relevant, amazing, and compelling.
