Stan Lee has been the creator of many superheroes. The animated universe that has been built is populated by a multitude of figures that have their original version and more genuine creativity and inspiration of this film producer. In the particular universe of Marvel we find Thor, the god of thunder. But Thor is not a creation of Stan Lee. This superhero belongs to the Norse mythology.

Thor is the son of Odin. He is the strongest of the gods and is always represented with an indestructible hammer that makes him an extremely powerful being. He is a lover of war, which is why one of his greatest hobbies consists in massacring giants with his hammer. Under his responsibility is the protection of youth. He is the son of the god Odin. He married the goddess Sif, with whom he had three children: Magni, Modi and Trud. He lived in a great palace located in the kingdom of Thrudvang, in Asgard. To travel from one place to another used a car pulled by two goats called Tanngnjos and Tanngrisner, which if slaughtered could resuscitate. As it passed, thunder rumbled in the sky. Thor died at the end of the world (Ragnarok) when he was fighting against the snake of the world.

Thor jumps into the world of comics as an Asgard defender or as part of the Avengers team. He has an editorial career of more than fifty years in which he has delighted readers with his fantastic adventures. It appeared for the first time in issue number eighty-three. And of course, it was totally different from what you can see in current comics or movies. Stan Lee, created the first Thor as a superhero in the best classic style. He had a double identity. In his normal and civic life he was Dr. Donald Blake, and he became Thor when the people, the city or the world were being threatened by a dangerous villain. With the passage of time several series of comics have been published. The most recent is Thor: God of thunder. It started in 2012 and is oriented towards the rediscovery of the character's history.

The cinematographic era of Thor begins with a trilogy: Thor (2011), Thor the dark world (2013), and Thor: the Ragnarok (2017). In all the films the main character was played by Chris Hemsworth. In 2018, we see the god of thunder in avengers: infinity war. Thor is one of the superheroes who managed to survive the universal genocide of Thanos. And for that he will have, a new opportunity to defeat the most vile of the villains of the Marvel cinematographic universe.

However, the fame of Thor as a mythological god had high levels, if Stan Lee had not made it part of the incredible universe of Marvel.
