It's funny how the Marvel movies have resurrected a lot of properties that weren't that exciting before. Like Shield. Granted, we had Steranko's psychedelic Nick Fury stuff way back when and that was cool but for the most part, SHIELD is basically just the uniformed cavalry. Being ex-SHIELD was cooler than actually being SHIELD.
That has changed now, with the advent of Agent Phil Coulson.
Inhumans is another great example of something that existed forever but until Fox and X-Men issues came up, I am not sure if they would be getting the push they are from Marvel now.
