in #comics7 years ago

Miss Fury #1 J. Scott Campbell Variant Cover (April 2013) by Dynamite Entertainment

When Miss Fury foils a wartime plot by Nazi secret agents, she is catapulted through time... or so it seems. Is she really careening from past to future and back, or has she lost her mind? And if her sanity remains intact, can one lone heroine possibly hope to end World War II by herself, a conflict still waged into the year 2013?    Written by Rob Williams, drawn by Jackson Herbert, cover by J. Scott Campbell.

Surprisingly she looks a lot like Catwoman.

Or does Catwoman look like Miss Fury http://everydayislikewednesday.blogspot.com/2012/04/quick-question-for-any-catwoman.html Pretty decent comment on that blog post too.

Honestly glad I went and Google'd this, I knew Miss Fury is an older character but had no clue she went as far back as the golden age.

That's interesting but Catwoman is older from what I understand. Miss Fury started in 1941 and Catwoman started in 1940, Catwoman was there first.

Design-wise Catwoman looks changed to look more like Miss Fury is what I think I caught off that page. I am trying to go from memory rather than re-look at the page but I think it said Bob Kane and the Miss Fury artist worked in the same area and things in that era were copied a lot. OG catwoman looked way different than how she does now and thank goodness her look changed up because...

Catwoman 1940 original costume lol

Catwoman 1947 started to have the Miss Fury look with the cape and head

Bodysuit showed up in 1986

OMG original Catwoman look is like the worest thing I have ever seen
