Turok was a big favorite of mine when his Valiant title launched in the early 90's. I've always been disappointed that the new incarnation of Valiant didn't get back the rights to Turok, Solar, and Magnus. I definitely tracked down some of these older issues to see more of Turok's history, but they were usually kind of formulaic and bland! Maybe I was just spoiled by 90's Turok too much beforehand!

90s Turok was awesome, I had the same experience that the older stuff didn't age the best, but I also really now see that to be true of so many 60s and 70s comics. Those Nintendo 64 games were graphically amazing to me, the way they made a huge amount of fog that seemed to take over any world within the game was something else. They were fun too.
