Interesting Comic Find - National Bookstore Reprints

Occasionally you come across #comics that you are unfamiliar with or that peak your interest. Today I encountered some #comics that are reprints from the National Bookstore. The National Bookstore is apparently a company based in the Philippines that has been around since the 1930s (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Book_Store). At some point in their history, they apparently reached a deal with Marvel to reprint some of their comics. Apparently, they must also have had a reprint deal with DC, but there were not any DC issues in the collection I purchased. To my knowledge, this is the first time I have ever seen these reprints. I searched on eBay for National Bookstore and found five other National Bookstore reprints or variants for sale, all from My Comic Shop (the name of the eBay Store, not me personally).The printing quality of these comics, especially the color is not the greatest, but I guess that is to be suspected from a reprint. On a few of the covers, for example, there is way too much yellow ink.

So, I thought I would share this curiosity with Steemit. I did some searches online for more information, but there was not a lot out there related to their comic reprints. If anyone who reads this happens to have some additional information, I would love to hear it. And don't forget to put #comics in the comments.
