I've had this fantastically funny piece of artwork for more than a decade. It was a gem that I picked up at a Wizard World Philadelphia comic convention, as part of an art jam/charity auction to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. A group of artists got together and in front of a live audience created great drawings, passing the paper to other artists to continue. The process resulted in some unusual pairings, such as the one posted above! All the results were then auctioned off for the CBLDF.
I've pimped some awesome comic book related Humble Bundles in the past, and I'm back at it again! I've scooped up some great comics from Image and Valiant while supporting worthy causes, but this time it's really something special for comics aficionados out there... and thankfully I caught this one early on. Yeah, this is the third bundle I've participated in. They've been doing it for years, but I wasn't into digital editions until recently. Now I love building up my "eLibrary" when good bundles come around.

It's so sad how they barley got anything for their work :(
Eisner did fairly well for himself. He was a pretty astute businessman on top of being an artist. He retained a lot of his ownership in creations and ran a studio where he hired other artists.
Kirby was of course greatly undervalued for his massive contribution at Marvel especially. That's why a charity like the Hero Initiative is so wonderful!
