Okay mofo’s....let’s see what’s in stores this week...
It’s a decent sized week full of a bunch of regular mainstays from the big 2!
Marvel is chucking out Avengers, Conan, Uncanny X-Men, Immortal Hulk, Champions, Tony Stark Iron Man, X-23, and a smattering of other fillers. Oh and a new Daredevil #1...even though they cancelled it just a few months ago. Same ol’ Marvel nonsense.
DC has several biggies that are on tons of pull lists as well. Batman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Deathstroke, and Justice League are going to go quickly in my shop. Be sure to check out the Harley Quinn variant this week as well. Has an Artgerm vibe to it. Also there’s a Mattina cover for Female Furies #1.
Independent titles sees 2 different Archie books hit. Sonic the Hedgehog, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Walking Dead, and a Lady Death Special that rocks the same cover as the initial launch from back in the 90’s...just without the fun Chromium cover. Can we bring back the Chromium covers please?!? I always loved those...

Onto the non comic crap!!! This week’s random nonsense is 85% friggin Funko Pops. In the Funko department we have an assortment of Harry Potter, Crash Bandicoot, Jetsons, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, Scrubs, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, a Netflix show I’ve never heard of, and more.
A pair of cute Harley Wuinn statues along with a really pretty Wonder Woman statue by Tweeterhead. Really loving their DC statues and I can see these becoming sought after down the road as more pieces in the line are released.
Some Funko Mystery Minis and Pez dispensers are here to suck your wallet dry. A stupid expensive Final Fantasy figure that is huge and awesome, a little bit of Gremlins action, and some Kingdom Hearts keychains are also in.
All my Wednesday night nerdy gamers will be happy to know that the new Heroclix Set is in. Also got the newest prize support for Dicemasters...sorry @themarkymark...not TMNT. 😞

Hell Karin my dear! We actually do have cosplayers come out for special events. The first Saturday in May each year is a big event called Free Comic Book Day. I’ll let you guess what happens that day!

It’s our busiest day of the year and we have cosplayers in the shop and on the street attracting customers and snapping pics. We’ve also done it when we have had signings in the shop.
