Cool Comic Con Crap!!! Part 3 For the Record!

The year, 2016. The booth, Fox. The item that brought you here? The “ Dazzler: Light and Fury “ record album.

This was a genius promotional and marketing move by the folks at Fox to help promote that disappointment of a film, X-Men Apocalypse. The album is actually blank but it’s an awesome prop to own for any comic nerd. See?

This was given out for FREE at the Fox booth if you simply pre ordered the X-Men Apocalypse DVD or Blu Ray. Pretty awesome deal if you ask me. I actually feel bad as I pre ordered 2 copies to get 2 of these. They do not charge your card until shipping which was sill like 2 months away. In that time I had to get a new card. I didn’t even realize for months after, that I never got the movies and the reason why. So technically I got these suckas for free. Literally.

The album can be seen in the film in the scene with Jean and Scott at the record store.

This was also used on the cover of Dazzler #29 by the amazing Bill Sienkiewicz back in the 80’s.

If you want one of these you can snag one on eBay once in a while. They typically will run ya in the range of around 100 smackers.
