RE: “Read a Damn Book – 121: The Fantastic Four – Marvel Masterworks Volume 1”

in #comics6 years ago

I had some comics shared by my uncle back in those days. I can relate with the cheesy humor back then when judged by today's standards. Back then, I just read comic books and did some tracing which helped me learn anatomy and be good at drawing. I wasn't paying attention to the stories and the dialogue. These were just pretty pictures to me. Thinking about it now, it's nostalgic to be reminded of good reads from this post. :D

Thanks! Glad I could help dredge up some happy memories! And, yeah... I've been going through a phase lately in which I go back and read books and comics that I enjoyed when I was a lot younger. It's actually surprised me how much stuff I liked when I was 10 years old that I still like today!

I know the feel so well. Did you also question why you like some parts of the narrative and some parts not? Back then, I was very particular about the story telling as I am now. Maybe something similar also happened to you.
