The event is free and open to all, but a $30 ticket will support the Foundation as well as gain access to food, soda, beer/wine, and the silent auction. There will be award winning Sci-Fi/Fantasy authors doing book signings, raffle prizes, a DJ, Cosplay Artists, Photo Ops, and more making this a night to remember!

Please come join friends of the Kevin Workman Foundation @ Comickaze Liberty Station to kick-off ComicCon 2016 in style with a "Preview Night" Happy Hour Fundraiser.

We will have award winning Sci-Fi/Fantasy authors doing book signings, amazing silent auction items, great raffle prizes, a DJ, Cosplay Artists, Photo Ops, and more making this a night to remember!

Confirmed Authors are: Peter Clines (The Fold), Jason M. Hough (Zero World), Jonathan Maberry (The Orphan Army), Peter Orullian (Trial of Intentions), V.E. Victoria Schwab (A Gathering of Shadows), Scott Sigler (Alight), and Greg Van Eekhout (Dragon Coast).

Great beers by Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing and Port Brewing Co / The Lost Abbey! Food will be carne asada, pollo asada, and al pastor street tacos from Mexico City cuisine catering Service with fixings. We'll also have wine and soda all available with your ticket purchase.

Lightsaber tournament by SD Sabers and their Shatterpoint competitive team.

Comickaze is located at historic Liberty Station just 7 miles (15 minutes by Taxi) from the San Diego Convention Center. The event is free and open to all, but please purchase a ticket to support the Foundation as well as gain access to food, soda, beer/wine, and the silent auction.

The Kevin Workman Foundation is a Category A25 501(c)3 nonprofit based in San Diego California with programs focused at the intersection of popular arts, education, and technology. Examples of recent work include bringing comic-book art instruction to homeless and disadvantaged children in partnership with the Monarch School.
