Strategies to Get the Courage to go out of Your Comfort Zone

Everybody can feel stuck at some point in their lives. We feel comfortable, but are not engaged. Stuff that used to inspire you now seems normal. The thing is that, we have allowed life to become average.

It will require courage to leave your comfort zone, but it will be worth it.

Why is it so important to leave your comfort zone?

You only have one life and only so much time to live it. The key to making your life magnificent is spend your time wisely. If you feel like everything in your life feels great then good job keep up whatever you are doing.

If you feel like something is missing from your life then it is time to change it. It will require you to do something different from what you are already doing. This will require you to get out of your comfort zone.

It will require you drawing a line in the sand and say I wont stand for this anymore. Then you can make it happen but it all starts with the decision.

Set a goal and write it down

Figure out your goal
Define it
Be very clear
Write it down

Its proven that if you write your goals down you are more likely to achieve them. Dream bigger don’t think that you cant achieve anything you desire.

Believe there are no other options

At this point you have defined your goals, believe that you don't have any other choice but to do it. Get rid of the choice and tell yourself that it’s a thing that has to be done.

In case you are not forced into a challenge which makes you need to leave your comfort zone, imagine that you do.

Do it one step at a time

In case you’re feeling fearful about attempting new things, you don’t have to go to the extreme. Set smaller and short term goals for yourself.

By simply breaking down your goals into smaller steps, you will be able to measure how well you're progressing as well as success is able to be achieved at many levels.

Visualize Your Future Better Self

Imagine how you want your life to look and feel by trying new things. An important step is writing down your goals but you also need to envision them happening and what it will feel like.

Envision what your improved life looks like. If you ever think about the worst case scenario, you will most likely realize that it is not really that bad. Focus on the better life you desire. Not only will this exercise help you achieve your goals, it will give you the confidence you will need to step out of your comfort zone.

Remember there are always new possibilities

Trying new things will help keep you from feeling stuck. Even small changes can make you happier and can lead to bigger things.

Any step that has to be taken to get you closer to your goals needs to be taken.

You wont realize the possibilities if you don’t take that step. You could be missing many opportunities. You wont know where that road will lead you unless you start walking it.
