HSBC director, long time Clinton protector, and disgraced head of the FBI, James Comey (who hid behind the curtains rather than meet face to face with his new boss) is the focus of yet another failure of the FBI to protect Americans.

John Solomon and Sara Carter use DOJ and FISC documents to demonstrate that Comey's malfeasance penetrated the FBI:

“disregard” for rules, inadequate training and “deficient” oversight and even one case of deliberately sharing spy data with a forbidden party.

the FBI was submitting ‘deficient” reports indicating it had a clean record complying with spy data gathered on Americans without a warrant

the FBI also was forced to admit its agents and analysts shared espionage data with prohibited third parties, ranging from a federal contractor to a private entity that did not have the legal right to see the intelligence.

Comey has long covered for the Clintons...

... as early as the Whitewater scandal to march Rich's pardon; but that was in the past. Recent coverups include protecting Clinton from prosecution for her failure to secure classified data and protecting the "unmasking" of American citizens as part of a political smear ( and take note this is not a full accounting):

Frankly, there’s a disconnect between Comey’s devastating findings and his weak recommendation not to prosecute Hillary Clinton. James Comey is a poisonous snake of the highest order… a deep-water Swamp Denizen who has been highly paid to deliberately provide cover for high-level corruption by the Clintons and Obama. He is has been central to trying to destroy the Trump campaign and then the Trump administration from the start. He is as dirty as they come in DC. He had highest-level cover (the FBI no less) and was deep into an effort to eliminate Trump. Trump had to move hard, fast, and at exactly the right time to cut the head off the snake without getting bitten by the snake or being finished by the other swamp denizens.

Of course, I would have called Comey a poisonous snake of the lowest order
