Hehe, ahhh Jerry. I watched 1 of his videos and then never again. His voice and mannerisms were enough to drive a peaceful soul to violence. ;-)
I've rarely made it further than a couple of minute (even for research purposes). Given the low numbers of views on his YouTube channel, I don't think I'm the only one.
Why would someone with a perfect life invest all of their life savings in Steem? First of all, nobody has a perfect life. Secondly, who has not heard the old adage "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket"? When Jerry Banfield says "GO ALL IN", he means to put all of your RISK CAPITAL into Steem vs Bitcoin and other high-risk/high-return opportunities. He's talking about risk capital and disposable income, not life savings. Always talk to a certified financial adviser before moving your life savings anywhere.
That sounds like a bit of a cop out. We have recorded on the blockchain forever the exact words he used: "GO ALL IN". Sure you're able to come along after the fact and add in asterix's and conditions and fine print, he didn't. It's what makes you a sane person, and Jerry... Well Jerry's Jerry.
