Comedy Open Mic Round #4 - Perfect names for a band
If your intent is to make money, then don't name your band something that's meaningful, or highly creative like "Citrus Oasis" or "Green mild jalapeno peppers".
Instead, focus on a name that is widely known to your potential audience. Marketing a band take a lot of money, so I recommend naming your band something that already is top of mind. You want to carefully choose a name that people will see without you having to bankroll a huge marketing budget on banners, t-shirts, jackets, hats, etc. Pick a band name that is quite visible at concerts, on the streets, etc. Here are three potential band names, that for whatever reason are surprisingly yet untaken:
- Post No Bills
- Event Staff
- Security
This way, when you play a show, people are already advertising your band for free. This allows you to spend your valuable cash on what's even more important - a good quality fog machine, while your competition is wasting their precious time and effort stapling flyers to telephone poles.
