Hosting Open Mic And Things Got Dirty Pretty Quick
Hosting the weekly stand-up comedy open mic, and things went off the rails quick. I talk about the NFL worried about racism, bad business names and role playing Star Wars with my wife.
I didn't expect to do any time tonight and didn't really plan for it. We had a local showcase where we had 10 of the the area's top comics perform. For many it was their first night getting paid. Here are the comics...
For me it is important to pay people for their talents... maybe why I like DTube and Steemit so much.
Hosting a bar show is tough, you have to get the crowd into it and get a few laughs before you can get the show started. Tonight, I did ok but I really need to work on saying... "you know?"
Each time up is a learning experience. Next week is going to be a lot of fun because we'll just make fun of each other for 60 minutes. Check back for that video. Let me know what you think in the comments.

D-tube is to slow, they need to make some changes .
I appreciate the advice, but I'm just going with Dtube for now. I'm not posting my comedy on YouTube... I'm trying my best to support D-Tube. I know it's not perfect, but I'm down for the cause.

Haha! Oh, man. It was GROULING to get through that, but ENLIGHTENING at the same time. Stand up is ROUGH. But the good news is - and most good standups will likely agree - that each time you BOMB it's essentially the UNIVERSE initiate the BITCH-IFICATION process to ULTIMATELY take you to the "next level"... but it SURE does B - U - R - N .....
