Today's Goodwill Finds

We stopped in at the local Goodwill, this afternoon. I'm not much of a shopper, but I don't mind putting around flea markets and second hand stores. Even if I don't find anything to buy, there are usually some pretty interesting things to see. Check out what we found, today:

First, The Funny

My wife ran across this little stuffed rabbit and showed it to me. At first, I thought it was pretty creepy! It took me a minute to figure out what she found so funny about it. Then it hit me!

I Shall Call It... Butthole Bunny

Seriously! What the actual EFF? I still can't wrap my head around this thing. Like, do you see what I see? I can't be the only person who thinks it looks just like there is a sphincter in the middle of that bunny's head! Take a closer look, and tell me what you think.

Pucker Up

Of course, we bought it! My wife is a cosmetologist, and she put it in her wax room just as a subtle joke. Think anyone will pick on it?

Innuendo

We also found this weird looking thing:

Madness!?

I'm pretty sure I saw this guy in the movie 300 when the Persians were attacking Thermopylae. Apparently, it is some type of anger management doll. Check out the instructions:

THIS IS... actually kind of working

As you can see, we also bought this one. It has found a new home in the wax room right next to butthole bunny. I'm sure it will get lots of use. If you've ever had hair ripped out of your body, you'll understand why.

Now, The Serious Stuff

I also picked up some books. Most of them are for our son. We have recently discovered that he is dyslexic, but the difficulty that he had with reading early on in school has kind of destroyed his confidence. He doesn't like reading; mostly because he hasn't picked up any books that he enjoys. Hopefully, he'll get into these. I also found one for the homestead library that I hope to build up.

Healing Power Of Fruits, Vegetables, and Herbs

I haven't had a chance to dig into this one, yet; but I think this one will provide some good insight on what I should try to grow in the garden and what health benefits we can get from it.

Bunnicula - A Rabbit Tale of Mystery

This one instantly brought back memories. I had this book when I was a kid, and I remember watching the cartoon. I think our son will love it just as much as I did.

BeastQuest

He was super excited when he saw these. I think he has seen them in the school library at some point and wanted to get them, but just never did. He has already asked me to read them to him, but I am going to leave theses for him to do on his own.

The Strange Case of Origami Yoda

I have no idea what this one will be about, but my son is a HUGE Star Wars fan. Just the fact that it has Yoda in it will get him interested.

All in all, it was a pretty fun Goodwill trip! I hope you've enjoyed seeing the weird stuff that we ran across. If you have any idea what that rabbit thing is all about, let me know!
