Football in India is in ICU
The world loves football, but India? Not so much. In India, Cricket is the game, and Cricketers are given godly statuses. In the above video, I go to one of the football matches in a city named Bangalore and I chat up people who have come to passionately watch the game. For these people, the numbers don't matter. As you can see, most of the stadium is unoccupied and there's nobody to watch, even if the stands are practically free. The players are not bad, with some going as far as breaking world records. I hope football scene grows in India in the coming decade.
