I mean, I can see where you are coming from with YouTube not liking small creators, but raising the level you have to be at to get monetized is a good thing too. Everyone's CPM will go up, making them more money, and there will hopefully be less of a chance for them to lose ads.
The ad supply hasn't gone up much, so there haven't been as many ads. YouTube has also always been very hard, with most people taking 5+ years to grow big.
But these are just my thoughts, and it's hard to make text sound nice. :)
Well the problem is YouTube is not releasing the fact if they are even profitable or not and I'm really starting to think they are not
They aren't. Basically, the cost of running something like that on servers without the help of outside money, like what Google gives, is impossible right now.
