My original content was down voted so I erased it

I erased the original content I posted because it was down voted by someone with weight. Because of this, I assume my content wouldn't be seen or would need to overcome quite a bit of negativity to be seen. I wish down votes required explanation, especially from whale curators. Guidance is welcome if you want to improve the site.
