Fyrstikken After Dark is a variety show in an experimental form-factor produced exclusively for #steemit by @fyrstikken - This is the second Episode in who knows how many more to come. 50,000 People on Steemit - No other crypto-project has this kind of growth, nobody is even close. Congratulations everyone, @ned & @dan for creating this platform, the 19 Witnesses for keeping it honest and all you who every day bring great joy to our lives with your comments, your articles, videos, songs, software-updates, apps and all the great stories you all share!
Some of us has walked a long road to get where we are today, experimenting with all kinds of new payment solutions and hi-tech cryptographic knowledge - and others, are just coming in right now, from a facebook account or a reddit account somewhere, making facebook and reddit shareholders anxious.
This is a virtue that you as an early adaptor of Steemit.com will reap all the benefits from, because you are adapting this technology while the creators are still young and very much alive - honoring those that went before us and created PGP, HashCash, Bitcoin, 4500 failed projects, Bitshares Decentralized money-exchange and now Steemit Decentralized Blog with a beautifully designed reward-system.
Over the years, since Bitcoin showed us all the way - there has been constant development for new solutions in the open-source space, and this platform - steemit.com - is one of many results in a very large network of networks that I know is overwhelming to most people, but I am sure - as you make Steemit your home, it will all fall naturally to you and those who will come after.
Outsiders have scoffed at what we do for years, saying - Bitcoin is a tulip-investment, when it has been the greatest performing currency year after year measured against anyone.
Some people are saying - Steemit, is too good to be true - no, steemit is not too good to be true - once you realize what it took to get to this... fast, slick, smooth and effective publishing platform - you will quickly realize why people will give up their own websites and blogs just to be part of this ever-growing society.
There is no stopping what time has created, which time is now

There will come a time when we look back on this post and laugh because we thought 50,000 was a lot.
We celebrate the achievement now because we are proud, but we all know it's going to be much, much more.
I'm glad to be a part of this now.
