The cheetah had the edge where speed is concerned. But the arenas aren't that big. It could evade the grizzly easily until it ran out of stamina. Then, like the elephant, the grizzly won through sheer bodily mass and muscle power. The grizzly was injured by the cheetah's jaws, but will have plenty of time to recover before it must fight again.

The cheetah couldn't be calculative enough thats why it lost. It used its speed but no strength, that where the grizzly took advantage to overshadow the cheetah
