Cousin It. Honestly the Adams family TV show was way ahead of its time. The Munsters was a bit more mainstream but some of the inside jokes on Adams Family were very clever.

It's actually Cousin Itt with two t's. The guy in the suit in the TV show was the great Felix Silla who also played Twiki in "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century."
