Colours of Spring

The two colourful seasons are Spring and Autumn, each for different reasons. One signifies life, the other death.
Flowers are beautiful for a reason. They are meant to attract insects and birds, to encourage them to indirectly spread their pollen from male to female - hence perpetuating the continuity of life.

This task doesn't go unrewarded. The plants pay the animals back in food and sweet nectar. It's nature's give-and-take way.
