The blue tang fish
The blue tang fish is one of my favorites. It's striking blue color and yellow tail along with the beautiful detail on its body is what makes it so admirable. Most of us know this fish as "Dory" 😂 thanks to the character Dory in Finding Nemo. I recently found out what its actually called. Earlier on today, I still just knew it as Dory.
Here are a few interesting facts about the blue tang fish:
- They are also know as the Palette Surgeonfish.
- Their lifespan is between 8-20 years.
- They are not consumable by humans, they may poison us.
- An adult blue tang fish can grow up to 600g
- They eat seaweed, algae and other little fish.
