HARDENBERGIA VIOLACEA (COLORCHALLENGE PURPLE SUNDAY)

Hardenbergia Violacea is a beautiful Australian native also known as Purple Coral Pea, Sarsaparilla, Happy Wanderer, Native Lilac or Waraburra. There are three species in Australia, which grow from Tasmania all the way to Queensland. Its a vigorous growing vine that is perfect for growing along fences or vertical structures. It starts to flower in winter and continues until early spring. The flowers in these photos are a beautiful vibrant purple colour, but it also comes in white and pink.
