ColorChallenge Friday Blue --The blue truck and the color for Thais on Friday--
Hello everybody here on Steemit. Last working day for most of the people.Wish you all a good and relaxing weekend.
I show you today a couple of pictures from a very old,kind of rusty truck.It delivered some Rio bars a few days back to our house for the contractor.
As you see,even the driver wears a blue shirt....it can't get any better than that......It must be a Friday.The Thais have a color for every day,same as here,only slightly different colors.Friday is the only matching day.
Tuesday = Pink
Wednesday = Green
Thursday = Orange
Friday = Blue
Saturday = Violet
Sunday = Red
A bit rusty,but hey...it still drives,makes a lot of noise and produces a lot of black smoke out of the exhaust.....
Well, where is the number plate in the front?(I put a kind of a number there...looks good,doesn'it??)
Ahh...there is one number plate in the back...isn't that enough???
Here we see a very safe and controlled unloading of the goods...What can go wrong???All good,mai pen rai and a big smile from the Thais,as they do here.
So that's a bit out of the life here in remote Thailand.This truck would not get passed through a check in the western world I guess,but here,as long as it runs,it runs.....if not it gets fixed.
I wouldn't be surprised to see that truck again in 20 years time.

Urs, this looks very adventurous and so nice to watch. Thanks. A little safety awareness training would be a good idea, not that those reinforcement bars slip and hit the guy in the stomache. Hope your project is moving on to your satisfaction?

if you watch my teakdoor blog,there are so much different between sub contractors (some) and PD employees...
it's going alright.....still waiting for the gate.....i do some paintings on the frontwall in the meantime
