What a treasure for photography enthusiasts that car show was! I think that car designs can perfectly show the face of the epoch they were made. And according to your latest pics 60s were really great time to live. I don't like nowadays cars, they all look the same, nothing original, nothing unique, but retro cars! Retro cars have soul, they got style:) Nobody is producing cars like that anymore and that show our epoch as well
Oh, I so agree. Today's cars all look so similar that I can hardly tell them apart. The retro cars had style, flair and a classy look. You could tell what they were right off too! I love seeing them preserved by so many car enthusiasts.
That's a pretty sky blue -- and they sure know how to shine up that chrome!
I love how huge the chrome is on the old cars. Awesome look on those grills.
They definitely had a real sense of style back then! So many cars look alike nowdays based on aerodynamics. But I'm glad our modern cars don't put out all that exhaust, lol!
I totally agree, still wished they had some of the old time flare though.
What nostalgic fun! I always wonder about the original owners and what adventures they had and the places they went.
@eyeofthestorm I can only imagine the stories behind these cars. I remember riding in some of them that my different family members had back in the 50's and 60's and I loved them. Still do, I had a 56 Chevy once, a long time ago. ;-) giving away my age a bit. lol
