COLORCHALLENGE: PINK MOSQUE OF MALAYSIA

I never thought that a color could be cute and magestic at the same time. A Mosque is a Holy place where Muslims congregate to worship.

The Putra Mosque s the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed in the year 1999. It is located next to man-made Putrajaya Lake. There are flying Malaysian states' flags in the large square in front of the mosque.

The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granites. The Mosque is large and can accommodate upto 15,000 worshippers.

Because of it's beauty, it has received a good number of curious tourists.

I have never visited this Mosque. But I have definitely marked it as a place to go if I ever find myself in Malaysia. What do you think??
