📷 Victory Park in Krasnodar

Hello, Steemians! Hi, friends! In the summer Saturday I suggest to walk with me in a beautiful and picturesque Park of the 30th anniversary of Victory, which is located on the embankment of the Kuban river and is a favorite place of Krasnodar and many guests of our city.

But once this area was considered a remote suburb, there was a deserted wasteland around a small, unremarkable backwoods of the Kuban river. On the shore planned to repair the river vessels, but gradually this corner of nature began to improve, people trampled paths, built canopies from the sun, installed benches...

The Park was opened only in 1975, and since then a lot has changed. On the territory of more than 50 hectares there is a real resort island: a Ferris wheel, an exhibition of military equipment, a lot of exciting attractions.

Every new season the Park is being developed, there are beautiful alleys, flowers, flower beds, trees and shrubs, restaurants and bars.

Gardeners every day create something new, take care of the comfort and convenience of guests, planted bright flower beds. In the photo above you can see a partial update, there was a beautiful Weigel.

If you wish, you can walk by the water. Kuban flows a few steps from the main alley. Once I met a young Heron on this shore, but she did not want to be photographed :-)
