Horsehair (Rumex confertus) is a perennial herbaceous plant of the family of buckwheat.

The stem is straight, furrowed, up to 1.5 m tall. Leaves alternate, in the posterior, especially on the veins, short-fluffy, at the base of the bells, which wrap the base of the interchrister; The lower leaves with long, topped ternary petioles, elongated-cardiovascular, wavy on the edges, upper - ovoid-anzhetni. Flowers are bisexual, collected at the top of the stems in a thick vein inflorescence. Perennials of six leaves, placed in two circles, green, cup-shaped; The outer leaves of the perianth are slightly smaller than half the width of the inner, the inner - round-heart-shaped, with a developed hill in one particle, the two other hills are undetectable. Fruit - triangular nut. Blossoms in May - June.
