Color Challenge - Monday Red

Contrast of colors. A juvenile Yelloweye Rockfish takes refuge in a large Cloud Sponge.

Yelloweye Rock Fish-1.jpg

As you decent deeper in the worlds oceans if can find and see some very wondrous things, these ancient cloud sponges live at depths most people will never reach and can grow for millions of years. Fish and other animals use red as a camouflage to hide in the depth and darkness from predators. Red is one of the fish colors lost in the color spectrum as you descend deeper in the ocean.

Finding a good place to hide and being the right color can make all the difference when your trying to survive in this world.

Thanks for reading and have a great day everyone.

Beautiful photo - like a white porcelain ceramic piece with a colorful ceramic fish wired into the design. Very striking!
