Dahlia is a bulbous plant that is annual (perenial), flowering in summer until autumn. In Indonesia dahlia flowering throughout the year. Dahlia is the national flower of the Mexico. The Dahlia flower is named in honor of the 18th century Swedish botanist Anders Dahl.
Currently, dahlia are cultivated a lot, because it is important as cutting flower / pot flower commodity in many parts of the world. Dahlia flowers grow well and flowering in the highlands. The flowers are beautiful with various color: white, yellow, orange, red, purple or mixture.
In Aceh, this flower grows in Bener Meriah and Central Aceh districts. Below are photos of dahlia flower that i took at Seuladang Cafe in Bener Meriah, some time ago.
