Does anyone remember Automan?

When I was very little, there was a TV programme that aimed to bring the wonders of Tron to TV.

They created a crime fighting duo of a computer programmer cop, and his creation (This sounds a bit too "Frankensteiny" says our Furry Editor.)

In my opinion, this is what Automan's car was based on - the Lamborghini Countach:

And just like on Tron, when Automan went around a corner, he took it on a 90 degree angle (ouch!)

So who remembers this show? It seems quite vague to me now, and it only ran for one season. For me, it sticks around in the memory banks because of Tron, and the beautiful car:

This is a perfect #colorchallenge as we have a white one, and a red one!
