Dandelion (Taráxacum) is the genus of perennial herbaceous plants of the Asteraceae family.

Dandelion is a plant with branched, core root thickness of about 2 cm and a length of about 60 cm, which in the upper part passes into a short, large-headed rhizome. The leaves are naked, cirrus-incised or intact, collected in the rootlet socket. Flowering juicy, cylindrical, hollow, carries a single inflorescence - a basket of tongue-colored bright yellow flowers. All parts of plants contain thick white milk juice. Flowering dandelion in April, fruiting with achenes with a white bang - from April to May.
