Colour Challenge: Not Dead Yet

These little twigs grew from the moss-covered stump of a cut-down tree; apparently, there was still life in it!

Nature is very hard to beat down, yet we manage it sometimes.

Wow! How amazing and beautiful!

Cutting down trees is the last thing I want to do, but sometimes I need to do it out on our acreage. It's amazing how resilient some trees are - I left only stumps and now have trees growing six feet tall again. I guess nature always overcomes human efforts.

Let's hope so, we are rather good at destroying things.
