Colour Challenge: mushrooms
A lonely red mushroom:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO1000, f4, 1/8s
This may be a slime mold, I'm not sure, and the whole almost looks like an abstract photo:

Red: So well captured. The last image especially is picture perfect of this species of mushroom. 🐛🍄 🐛
Hard to believe but in a few days time these amazingly textured and red mushrooms will have the most vile odour imaginable as they start to decay. I know, we have had them come up in our backyard. They are highly poisonous too, so don't be tempted to have even the tiniest nibble. Resteemed, 'coz I LOVE them. 🐛🍄 🐛
