Colour Challenge: red mushroom
This is a vermilion waxcap (Hygrocybe miniata), a very small and very red mushroom, as a fresh start of a new week of Colour Challenge photos:

Amazing mushroom
The colour of the first mushroom is so striking against the contrasting green. As is the second against the duller grey brown. Textures are beautiful too. Really surprised it's edible though. 🌿🍄🌿
