I on a horoscope — The Twins. Air and open space — vital for me. So I admire all shades of blue and light blue. A few years ago I first saw a picture of Robert Julian Onderdonk "Bluebonnet Scene". And it just fascinated on me with their amazing colors. I can stare at it for hours.
With your permission, on weekends, I will be posting the paintings of this great American artist of the early 20th century, and in every post to tell you a bit about this artist. The main feature of creativity which were the Lupins, that cover the Texas plains.
This picture was written in 1920-1921 shortly before his early death (he died at the age of 40 years). I want, to you enjoy this masterpiece with me!
