Yesterday we went scumping in the garden. Picking up all the windfall apples. I'm thinking to make some home made cider with them.
We have just one apple tree and it gives loads of fruit every year and I just can't bear to see them go to waste.
This is our apple tree. I trimmed it back last year and it has produced loads of apples.

These are the withered and windfall apples for the cider experiment. They don't look very appertizing

And these are a few of the apples we picked. Good for eating and making apple pies.

Do you grow your own fruit and vegetables? It seems to be very popular again.

Great pictures...thanks for sharing. <3 @molometer

Good luck making the cider. Good for the digestion.

I've just got to figure out how to do it now. I know its not too complicated. ;)

I really like your pictures. Following you now.

Lovely apples! You NEED to make this!

That looks simple enough to do. I'll give it a try. I've loads of them apples lol

Beautiful photos, molometer. Can't wait to see your finished product.

You and me both. That's if I can figure it out. ;)

Oh, how I wish I could grow apples here! Those look scrumptious! I can't wait to hear how your cider experiment goes. Good luck! I bet it will be delicious!

Only time will tell. I had better record the whole process.
They are a nice eating apple. Similar in taste to Pink Lady apples.

Your apples looked delicious. I wish I had an apple tree. It would be fun to make cider, apple pie, apple sauce, etc. I have a lychee tree that bears a lot of lychee twice a year. It actually gives us too much that we give it away to neighbors. I think we all should grow our own food but sometimes the heat in Hawaii makes it difficult. Thank-you for sharing your wonderful apple post with us!

I don't have a garden, only a frontyard with a few flowers and a fig tree, we collect some figs but the owner of the house (I rent an appartment in this house that has 3 appartments)comes and make a big harvest..LoL he adores his figs..we don't enjoy them much, they are not very tasty, but for him, it's the tree of his childhood so I suppose it tasted lovely memories more than great figs ;-)
Have a lovely day @molometer ! ^_^fraise.png

Figs taste better dried I think. Interesting about the owner and his memories.
I used to grow lots of chillies and tomatoes when I lived in Cape town. Nothing tastes as good as the things we grow ourselves. Have a lovely weekend @barbara-orenya
