These two first images were captured in the Botanical Garden in Mérida - Venezuela.

Yellow is a shocking color. Not in vain, my flag has that color first. For us it symbolizes the richness of our country (Venezuela). Something that nowadays seems dreamy, as if it had vanished. However, the important thing is to remember that not only the material is wealth, but also our warmth, our humor, our joy. Our wealth also lies in the drive and perseverance of each Venezuelan before their struggles, their burning flame when they insist, which has also brought us countless happy moments and millions of reasons to be proud. Regarding this, here is the photo of Dayana Méndoza, one of our Miss Universe, who when she wore the crown wore a radiant Yellow dress.

And to close with a gold pin: The following image initially obtained the third place in the category of Nature, taken by the photographer Jaime Rojo (Spanish). The picture shows a tapestry of monarch butterflies that cover the snow at El Rosario sanctuary in Michoacan (Mexico). In the two thousand and seventeen was winner of World Press Photo 2017.
