We have a house on the fence of the Kruger National Park, so from time to time we will find a lion or two near the house. However this photo was taken on a trip to the Kalahari Desert.

It was a shot with a Canon 5D Mark ii with a EF 70-300mm USM lens. Hope this helps :)
