Colorchallenge: Tuesday Orange

Happy Tuesday, Folks!

As the primary caretaker for my mother, I don’t dine out as often as I used to. Recently, I got out for a quick bite with my friends. I ordered the kimchee fried rice at Taiyo Ramen, a small noodle shop on the outside of Ala Moana Shopping Center in Honolulu. I’ve been craving their fried rice for months. The portion is big; too much to eat at one sitting but I always look forward to eating the leftovers later. After I uploaded the picture I thought everything looked orange and it would be perfect for today’s challenge.

Also in the picture is a side-order of chicken katsu, a popular local dish. It is breaded and deep-fried chicken filet with a rich dipping sauce. And more kimchee. This place has really good kimchee. Feeling hungry yet?
