#colorchallenge Red Monday
In the Pacific Northwest, it's pretty rare for us to have an ice storm, especially an ice storm that blankets the city for days on end. These images were taken in December 2016 at the end of 3 days of freezing rain. The kids even had a full week of school added onto the end of the school year to make up for the missed days due to closures. We did take a couple of epic walks and get some really great photos though! Out of all the images I captured, these shots of our Japanese maple tree in the front yard, are two of my favorites.
I love that the light coming through the leaves makes them look like stained glass, or the mosaic filter in photoshop - Ha! Lucky for us, we didn't get any snow or ice this last season - so looking through my photos is as close as I'll get for now. These were taken with my iPhone 6s.
....wow...
They froze next to perfect shape.
You should try submitting this to hotels and hospitals.
