ColorChallenge: Sunday Purple
Happy Sunday Steemians,
Here is my entry for ColorChallange: Purple Sunday. This is an image of Canadian Thistle. Canadian Thistle (or lettuce from hell or cursed thistle) is a common weed in Saskatchewan and regardless of its name I still think its very beautiful especially in contrast to the long, green wild grass. Warning, it may look beautiful but it is very prickly. Everything of beauty comes with a little bit of pain, doesnt it? :)

Thanks @rockyhandsome. The colour and contrast of it against the Saskatchewan landscape makes it very stunning. :)
AND.... it has my favorite little critter romping among the cursed thistle. Bit of an allegory there, methinks. I want some of that Honey!!!!! :D
It was a fortuitous photo op. The bee was perfectly positioned and I happened to be there at the right time to notice it and to subsequently immortalize it. I suppose we notice all kinds of things when we tread quietly and openly enough to let them present itself to us. I kinda like the name Lettuce from Hell....has a certain ring to it.
