Why are sunsets red? That is a good question

The sun is perceived by the human eye as a yellow, celestial body, which, in the early hours of the morning and shortly before entering, changes its color into orange and reddish tones. However, what is the true color of the sun and why these changes occur over the course of a day?

If we were in space, the sun would have seen it altogether differently than we see on Earth. The Sun would appear white out of space because the light that sends the Sun has not only one color, but all the colors we could think of. Some of them are visible and light in the visible spectrum can be red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and indigo (their order counts, so it is good to remember "ROGVAIV"). When the human eye perceives all these colors in almost equal quantities, mixed, as is the case with sunlight, the human eye perceives white.
