This was a family outing. It was fantastic to stop running the rat race and just enjoy the family, the animals and nature.

wow! Galapagos Tortoise. After spending months indoors to keep warm, Emerson can now catch some rays. The Toledo Zoo's 100-year-old, 450-pound Galapagos tortoise was moved today from the Ziems Conservatory to his new digs, which are just down a winding pathway.Thanks for sharing.
100 years old! That would basically mean that this dude was born at the end of the first world war. I am not exactly sure how Emerson would feel to be reminded about that :-)
