My Visit to the Botanical Garden in Hakgala

Last week I present you some daily posts about my visit in Hakgala Botanical Garden which is situated in NuwaraEliya, today i think to summarize my fully trip as one short story if you can't find my previous daily posts here is the whole story in fully.

My journey started from Fort Railway station Colombo. I traveled from train named “Podi manike” which is travelling to Badulla. It was a rough ride in the beginning but it got interested after passing Balana pass.

In my journey, i passed the highest station In Sri Lanka. It was amazing scenery i managed to take a snap in the Railway station real quickly.

Once I got down I had to take the local bus to Nuwara eliya town in order to visit the Hakgala Botanical Garden. It was noon when I reach to the Hakgala garden and there was a huge display of the map of the garden in front of the entrance.

It showed each and every important place in the garden which gave me guidance for my visit.

There were so many beautiful Flowers beds along the beautiful roads in the garden and it was well organized and designed with modern landscaping.

Most attractive place on the garden was the rose beds. There were so many types of roses. They were arranged in beautiful patterns. I took photos of those gorgeous roses.

Red rose – I felt so romantic and lovely near the red roses.

Pink- It was so sweet and adorable when pink roses emerged from the flower bed.

Yellow rose- I was so glad that I have felt joy and happiness near Yellow roses.

I wondered freely around the garden that I didn’t felt the time passing by. I took several magnificent photos of the flowers and the garden.

Once i came back to the home i searched google map for the location i traveled, it was a fully green surrounding with huge blue Mountains. pretty amazing look
