Color Challenge- Blue Friday "A city on stilts"

It's not very often that I get to see a clear blue sky in some parts of China so it was a real delight to capture. This place, known as Phoenix town is also classed as 'the city on stilts'. Due to the large river running through it, people living there had to work around it (well over it in this case!) and built wooden houses above the water, supported by large stilts. I was informed that the stilts were stable, but they looked so fragile and I was surprised that they'd been there for so many years, with families still living inside them to this very day.

It was magical.
